they announced the changes,
major changes that affect everyone...
and within minutes,
plans start to fly off the shelves,
on how to build the new sections,
and teams..
but in the stillness of the busy-ness,
my heart start to weep.
and a tear start to form.
we may have our ups & downs,
Miss com &misunderstandings.
we may have rub each other the wrong way,
or just simply have step on each others' toes,
but no one can deny,
or take away the memories that we shared,
together, as a section,
as a team,
and as a family.
zhen,
you were like a mother to us.
we may not understand you at times, but your courage and faith when facing your storms show us why its important to be connected to God,...
if we have learn only 1 thing from you, it will be the bare truth that without God, we can do nothing.
And we will tell the world that without your leadership,
we will not experience how important this truth is.
gordon,
you are like a son to me.
showing me and reminding me all the times that when one have faith, nothing is impossible.
go in your calling,my son, knowing that i am always here for you.
your calling is not to positions, but to the hearts of people.
sow the seeds of love into their lives, and let God reap the harvest for you.
Jesus' intention for you is not to be a position leader, but a person of influence.
in and out of seasons.
in and out of G4.
in and out of UM.
kristal,
THE dragon gal..
you have grown so much since we first met.
SOT-ed, but never the least, still so "dao"...
dont be so icy lah... let your warmth be felt at first sight, and you will find people swarming around you, to press into your lives.
getting involve in people's lives is hard, and it take a lot faith and self belief to do so.
leadership is never easy, but you have show us again and again,
that you will never fail us.
keep on growing strong, my gal.
never be distracted from your vision, and your calling.
xiao lii,
you are like a small sis to me...
and thought we didnt have much chances to work together,
let me say that you are simply wonderful.
its not easy to juggle work, family and ministry.
but be of good cheers.
designers never have a easy school life that others can understand.
but trust in God, and put Him to the test, that if you put His ministry first, He will put your projects on His priority...
chang yan,
another brother.
you have grow from a boy, to a man.
and from now on, you have to lead, like how you are suppose to be so.
you are never alone,
and there are no such things like fatal failures.
the only failure is that you did not try.
so go... and make things happened!!
huifen,
my friend.
its with a bitter sweet joy to know that you will be ministering to our youth in the zone..
will miss your smile,
your love,
your ministry.
love you gal.
be strong, and steadfast, and know we will be around, cheering you on.
liting,
you are a leader whom i have to really salute.
lesser ones will give up, and step back into comfort,
but you show us the true meaning of sacrificing, and serving as a daughter...
will miss your smile and your chit chat..
but more than anything, will miss a great leader..
mikhail,
a soilder of faith, and a person of few words.
i can trust you with my world, and i know you will take it to greater height.
stay in His plan,my bro, and you will do things never thought possible.
isaac,
a bro in faith, and ministry.
your friendship, and "never say no" attitude never fail to encourage me.
keep on seeking Him, and let Him direct your path.
dont worry about where to turn, or how to make things happen.
His calling for you will never change...
Achievers,
you are my family, my friend, my strength.
No leaders have an easier job looking after their team than myself, coz you are all passionate people, who never fail to achieve your visions for God.
keep on growing together ya?
all Overcomers, (past, present, and future)
we achieve history, had our milestones, celebrated our achievements because of you.
remember our "motto"...
TWO:
Together
We
Overcome!!

expecting another major changes
its time for another changes...
and its going to be major...
a merger
a regrouping of leaders (for better or for worse)
a change of leadership
well... the 3rd part is still unconfirm..
but so many "hear say" that its eating into my morale...
i mean... come on.. if there is a change concerning myself, why can you tell me?
at least, let me prepare myself, and try to know the new team of leaders first...
but no.. everything not confirm...so... its quiet, quiet, silent.
silent leadership is not leadership at all.
its 1 person running the show, thinking that the rest should just flow with you.
we may flow, but out of our decision to follow Christ.
not becoz we want to follow you.
anyway.......
come this weekend, my life will be in for another change.
somehow, i have a feeling that i will decide to resign from something, to focus on something else.
and its not going to be easy if the people up there do not understand my concern.
i have more than ministry to focus on.
i have "my calling" to follow.
when i returned to UM, i made it clear that i have a vision to do certain things, and if whatever i am doing is not in that direction, i will not do it...
guess, this decision will result in some changes soon... =(
all i hope is that the leaders up there will understand...

what I learnt from my Honeymoon..
1.Never take a guided tour if you really just want to go shopping..
Its tiring (and in the last few days, dead boring) to wake up early in the morning,
take a bus to have breakfast,
eat some "nice" breakfast,
take the bus to sight see site 1,
alight to take photos,
take the bus to sight see site 2,
alight to take photos,
take the bus to have lunch,
alight to eat some pork related food (korea is not muslim friendly)
take the bus to sight see site 3,
alight to take photos,
take the bus to sight see site 4,
alight to take photos,
take the bus to have dinner,
alight to eat either sea food or pork related food
take the bus to hotel
and... sleep..
The only days available to shop: last 2 days...
2. Never really listen to the tour guide when she said the food is nice...or don't buy something..
Chances is the food sucks..
Or if you buy something later, the price is way higher than if you buy it on the spot.
example: we want to buy some oranges at JeJu island.. but the guide say no...
when we finally get the chances to buy some, its 2x the prices!!
3. Never believe what the tour agency said concerning the:
1.weather
(they said its goin to be air-con condition... we experience the same hot weather as in spore!_
2.tourist attraction
(lots of fish at the submarine tour? i see only fishes becoz there was a diver with food)

lessons learnt from my wedding
1. Never never never (and never) take your team of helpers for granted.
My salute to all my 12 Xiong Dis who were game enough to play along the 12 Jie Meis who seem to make it their life goal to sabo us with all various games..
My sincere thanks to all of them for running the wedding celebration perfectly...
You all show us what true friendship meant.
(esp for the brothers.. hehehee)
2. Never never never take for granted your PG(s) or even VG.
Our main PG fell sick last min... kena FHM disease..
(Foot Hand Mouth lah... easier to remember!! unless he has been reading too much FHM?)
As a result?
We engaged another photographer... and till today, we are all on tenderhook on how well will the pictures turn out... We all have high expectation on the quality of the photos... and truth be said, we all agreed that Melvin is simply the BEST PG in Singapore....
But he has to kena FHM!!!!
3. Never never never take for granted the service of the hotel / banquet.
A 3 pages email was sent to OCC for the ZERO service rendered.
Enough said.
How waiting for the compensation package from them...
4. Be flexible.
So many last min changes.
It can be very frustrating... but well.... at least I have to learn to be more flexible..
5.Remember the promises we made in the vow.
For better or worse.
Till death do us part.
Then we will see each other in heaven again soon!!
=D
