why must a paying customer be asked to move every 6 months?
i don't get it.
why must we be asked to move to hall 1 every now and then?
its not as if we are getting hall 1 for free, or the overall rental will be lowered by a few hundreds of thousands..
nor the move(s) are fully sponsored.
all we wanted is to have a place to worship,
to reach out,
to encourage,
to serve,
to love,
and be loved.
why are we always at the losing end?
especially when we are paying customers?
i dont hear our neighbours having the same issues,
and they are USING the best hall.
the unlikely answer came when i threw the question to God.
in anger,
in frustration,
with a tired body,
and a more tired mind.
and with 1 answer, God refreshed,
reminded,
and rechallenged.
God said:
"Because "My church" is still not big enough, and i have yet to use "My church" to build "My house" in the marketplace.
"Every move is to remind each other to pray for the church, and His leaders that we will be able to secure the land within this year (as what Ps mentioned during vision weekend)"
"Every move is to remind us that Expo & JW are the not His best plans for us yet, and that we must never think that we have "arrived" , and think its time to relax"
"Every move, no matter how tiring, is for a purpose of growth"
(but how? i still don't understand... but God knows, and I know I can trust Him.. )
"Every move is a reflection of His faithfulness & protection"
If Israel had travelled in the deserts for years, they must have built, torn down and rebuilt the tabernacle a thousand times...
but not once did the people complained.
The priests continue to do their duties (and shiftings),
the people continue to draw closer to God,
the land of "milk and honey" became closer as the days start to grow.
Why should we complain now?
God will bring us through this "losing contract" that we have with Expo.
AND God will surely bring us to the promised "land"

time to do a self check.
its time that we did a self check, and prioritize our "needs /wants".
and i really have to thank God that He didn't just "confirm" my plans,
He make it easier for us to talk through it.
many things are still in the "infant" phrase..
not just baby rara, but many more...
and even though it was quite a simple, straight forward plan,
it was not what we want.
and thus, the heartache.
but God know,
and He will always deliver.
taking 3 risks now.
let's hope all 3 will bring in rewards.

my wife is freed!!
finally... she is freed from the back biting, late nights, and negative environment.
let the people judged.
a wrong word that come out of your mouths may not reach our ears,
but there are people who are watching.
you are not the only one that has access to the "kings".
there are others who have more access than yourself,
and if you are silly enough to think you can use her as a "wrong demo",
think twice.
its easier for people to pull you down,
than to put up with you..
not when you are messing with what matters to the hearts.

a person after my own heart...
someone used to say that disciples are always looking for the right mentor that can teach them everything, onto a path of success...
"the difficult part is not finding the mentor,

that is the often quoted part..
what is unquote is the next line:
"the difficult part is not finding the mentor,
but the mentor finding the right disciples to mentor."
think about this.
and stand in awe of the wisdom of this sage.
i received a christmas gift from this friend of mine,
and truth be spoken, i didn't expect it from him.
not that i am sayin that i am not appreciative of his gift.
but its through his gift, i am reminded of the reason of my "ministry" at large.
and its a reminder that beyond the "duty", is the friendship.
a relationship that grow from duty to mentoring, to friendship.
a friendship that is built over numerous fires & trials will always be the one that stand when we are apart.
a friendship that has gelled to a state that words are not needed,
and the hearts beats with each other.
when we can find a friend like him,
we can understand Jonathan's emotions when he declared that he love David more than his future & riches.
Gordon,
you are a friend that i will treasured, and be proud of, all the times!
